Best Coffee Gifts For Her 2024 (Tom’s Top 7)

As a coffee guy who's spent years immersed in the coffee industry, I've had the pleasure of testing countless coffee products and sharing my recommendations with fellow enthusiasts.

Today, I want to help you find the perfect coffee gift for her, him or anyone special someone in your life.

I've noticed that coffee lovers generally fall into two camps. For some, coffee is simply that morning cup of instant that gets them going. But for others – and I count myself among them – coffee is a true passion.

These are the people who collect brewing equipment, experiment with different beans and blends, and geek out over brew times and water temperature.

I'll share my personal recommendations for coffee gifts that I've either given, received, or added to my own wish list.

Why trust me? I’m Tom and I have been working in the coffee industry for over 10 years, starting my journey as a barista in Australia, working on coffee farms in South America and roasting coffee in The UK.

Today I review and write about speciality coffee. I am the founder of Batch Coffee Club, which showcases the very best coffee from around the world.

1. Coffee Subscription

What to get a Woman who loves coffee?

There is no better coffee gift for your coffee loving lady than buying them some of the best coffee she will ever drink.

The rise of the subscription box a few years ago saw brands sprout up in all sorts of wonderful sectors offering monthly deliveries of goodness.

Coffee subscription services have always managed to stick around though and seem to have stood the test of time while other more fleeting sub boxes have disappeared.

If you are looking for a unique coffee gift for her then a coffee subscription could certainly be your ticket.

2. Ceramic Coffee Mugs

The best way to enjoy good coffee is in a handmade ceramic mug.

There are hundreds and thousands of coffee mugs out there in pretty much any shape and size you can imagine and actually the chalice in which you consume your coffee is - much like specialty coffee, down to preference.

However, for us, I don’t think you can get better than a hand-thrown ceramic cup.

If the coffee you are brewing is of high quality then the vessel surely has to match (you wouldn’t drink a good scotch out of a plastic glass).

3. Coffee Scrub

A coffee scrub for those that enjoy a pamper.

As you may have guessed a coffee scrub is as it sounds: a scrub for her skin made out of coffee grounds.

Coffee scrubs are valued for their caffeine and antioxidant content that are great when applied to the skin.

Although not proved scientifically it is also beleived that coffee scrubs help in decreasing the appearence of dimples caused by cellulite.

To use a coffee scrub simply apply to the area you’d like to exfoliate and leave for a short amount of time before cleansing the area.

One of our favourite coffee scrub products in the UK is Grounded.

4. Coffee Plant

For those green fingers.

The coffee beans that we know and love are actually seeds that sit side by side encased in a couple of fruity outer layers called the cascara or coffee cherry.

Now I’m not saying it is possible to start her own coffee farm and produce her own coffee as these little seeds are fairly picky when it comes to climate and take a while to produce fruit.

However you can still purchase a coffee plant as a novelty coffee gift for her and they do make fantastic house plants with their shiny green leaves.

They’re not as easy to come by as nipping down to your local garden centre however you can find some online.

They are a great talking point and who knows, one day she may be able to pick, process, roast and brew her own coffee.

5. Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans

Her 2 favourites combined.

Many artisanal shops now sell chocolate covered coffee beans as a snack or a treat.

They are very popular as Christmas Coffee Gifts.

The smooth and sweet chocolate outer layer complements the coarse and bitter coffee in the middle.

You will see coffee beans available to eat in various forms like as a topping on an ice cream.

They usually pair well with sweet foods to balance out the bitterness.

Chocolate covered coffee beans will make the perfect coffee gift for any coffee loving lady.

6. Coffee Magazine Subscription

Coffee table coffee mags.

Another quite unique coffee gift for her is a coffee magazine subscription.

Two of our favourites are Caffeine and Standart

If you feel that she is appreciative of beautiful design and a well put together magazine that will be used as a coffee table mag then Standart is the one for you.

If she is more of a coffee snob and loves tinkering with grind size and water temperature of her pour over recipe then caffeine mag is a good choice.

7. Cafetiere

A classic cafetiere makes a wonderful coffee gift for her.

A cafetiere makes a perfect coffee gift for your coffee loving lady as it’s pretty straightforward to make and you can pretty much extract a decent cup first time round.

The cafetiere uses a mesh filter to plunge the coffee into the bottom of the beaker so you can pour the brew directly into your cup.

They make perfect gifts for people that enjoy full bodied brews that want to experience the world of speciality coffee.

Just pick up a bag of cafetiere ground coffee from your local coffee roaster here and you have your perfect coffee gift set.

What Are Coffee Gifts for Women?

When we think of women’s gifts, we may think of all the stereotypical “effeminate” things like flowers and chocolates.

In today’s society though, this seems a little bit silly to engender things that can be enjoyed by everyone, or to pigeon-hole women into certain roles.

If you know the person you are buying the gift for, you might have an idea of what they would like, based on their personality, spending and coffee consumption habits, or you may be able to surprise them with a gift they never even would have thought of.

For someone the lady that is always on the go, a voucher for her favourite high street coffee shop might subsidise her bills for a little bit, freeing up a little bit of extra pocket money.

Most coffee shops give a discount to encourage customers to bring their own reusable cups and whilst it can be a pain to cart a lidded glass beaker around, even in a big handbag, there are now On the Go Collapsible Coffee Cups made by companies like Stojo

Likewise, there are collapsible reusable metal straws that can be used so that the coffee bypasses the teeth and doesn’t leave big yellow stains.

The same busy lady might want a coffee machine – like an easy to use, quick action Nespresso-pod machine, or a De’Longhi traditional barista pump espresso machine.

There are a huge range of different machines which all have their pros and cons

For the home coffee enjoyers, a batch coffee club subscription which provides a variety of different beans from all corners of the globe can really draw excitement and wonder.

There’s a whole plethora of coffee brewing apparatus that can help perform miniature coffee experiments on the kitchen counter.

These include gadgets like scales, to ensure that each cup is brewed with the same consistency, both electric and hand-turned grinders, cafetieres modern Chemex slow drip pour over carafes, or vintage Viennese-style balance syphon coffee makers.  Coffee can be exciting purely for the myriad of ways it can be brewed!

Best Coffee Gifts for Mum?

If you’re buying coffee gifts for your mum, or helping the kids pick something out for their mama bear, then maybe a fun t-shirt, pair of slippers, or even a nightie reminding everyone not to annoy her until she has her first coffee might be a fun touch.

If she’s green-fingered, you can even give her a coffee plant, which she can nurture and cultivate, either in a pot or in the soil.

It might take a while to bloom and a single plant will only sprout enough beans for a few cups each year, but other than baby animals, there are few things cuter than a little plant.

Best Coffee Gifts for my Wife?

If it’s your wife’s birthday, Valentine’s day or some other occasion, it might be fun to get boozy after dinner.

Espresso martini kits complete with shakers, strainers, vodka and coffee liqueur can provide a lovely post-dinner night cap buzz.

If she’s highly conscious of the condition of her skin, Grounded and other brands have begun producing mini coffee body scrubs.

These are nutrient-rich, 100% vegan scrub pre-shower kits to remove dead skin cells, so a great addition to the inventory of anyone with a discerning skin routine.

She might even enjoy a nice day out at roasters or cafes, where she can develop her barista skills and bean knowledge.

Coffee Gifts for Her on a Budget?

If you’re on a budget, either due to financial circumstance, or a spending limit of a work’s Secret Santa event, you might want to grab something a little bit smaller.

Beyond a bag of nice beans, or ground coffee, there are plenty of nik-naks and artisanal objects – concrete hexagon coasters, cups of all shapes and sizes, coffee storage tins, pillow covers celebrating hot-drink-imbibing, coffee tea bags, stovetop espresso makers and a whole bunch of thermos-style coffee flasks.

What Coffee Is Best For Women?

This is all about preference. Some prefer sweeter tasting coffee, so a medium roasted South American coffee that has notes of milk chocolate may work. Whereas sometimes darker notes are preffered so a dark roast Indian coffee with roasty flavours may be a better option.
