WHAT IS IN A BATCH COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION GIFT?
Firstly every coffee box is different.
In each coffee box there are 2 bags of coffee.
Both from different UK roasters and origins.
We spend hours reviewing and rating coffees from around the UK and pair two together in each coffee club gift box.
Occasionally we may loop back to coffee roasters previously used but we never use the same coffee twice (that’s so far almost 200 different coffees).
All of our packaging is home compostable and information about both coffees is either displayed on the back or via the QR code.

Batch coffee club is a team of coffee professionals that have worked in the coffee industry for many years.
We love coffee and we love people. Our mission is to showcase the best coffee in the UK while providing an unbeatable service.
MEET OUR FOUNDER TOM
Tom Saxon has worked in the coffee industry for over 10 years. His love for coffee began in Australia taking his first job in the coffee industry as a barista.
Tom worked at several of Sydney's specialty coffee shops before spending a year in South America working on coffee farms and building relationships at origin.
Returning to the UK, Tom began working for a coffee roaster based in Manchester before finally deciding to start his own coffee brand in the form of a specialty coffee subscription. Batch coffee club has evolved and progressed since the early days but Tom still tastes all the coffees and is always on the lookout for new coffee roasters.

A recurring coffee subscription gift costs ￡17.99 per box and you can select how often you would like to receive each box of coffee (Every 2 or 4 weeks).
If you would like to prepay for a number of boxes (recommended as a coffee subscription gift) then we do offer discounts when you purchase one of our coffee club gift packages.

Whether you have subscribed to our coffee gift club, purchased a coffee gift package or a one-off box you will receive two different coffees from different origins and coffee roasters.
We showcase the best coffee beans in the world and celebrate both the incredible farmers and producers at origin while at the same time the talented coffee roasters that highlight delicious flavour profiles of speciality coffee.

Each coffee gift box contains two bags, each one containing 200g of coffee.
So 400g of coffee in each box.

Cancelling a recurring coffee subscription gift is super easy. Head over to your coffee subscription account here and select cancel my subscription.
You will not be charged after you have cancelled, however you will receive any pending coffee boxes.

We ship our gift coffee subscription UK wide using various courier services.

We are plastic free.
Our coffee bags and boxes are compostable and made using organic materials.

Each gift box contains an A5 flavour wheel and brew guide alongside an optional gift message.

We dispatch every other Wednesday, this keeps the coffee at its freshest.

We hope that even if your recipient doesn’t love the coffee they put it down to the fact that the flavour profile isn’t a taste they particularly enjoy and that the next one may be their taste.
Coffee is all about preference and that can dramatically change between people, some love the light acidic fruity flavoured coffee while others prefer it bold, rich and chocolatey.
There isn’t a right answer to what makes a good coffee and that's the beauty of speciality coffee, the flavours can be so diverse and everybody has different preferences. The coffee that your recipient will receive has been selected by our team of experts who only choose the best.

The roast level of each coffee in our coffee gift club varies in each bag. We don’t showcase any dark roasted coffee, the majority will be around medium roast while some is more towards light roasted coffee.

Coffee is best consumed from 7 - 21 days after the roast date. This is the peak of the coffees flavours and when it is classed as at it’s best. Coffee is still good to drink after this amount of time but some flavours may subside.

There are many coffee subscription gifts in the UK market today. Each one with their own USP and quirk. We’re a little biased and believe that we have the best coffee subscription gift out there, however as with specialty coffee, it’s all about preference and taste.

All of the coffee that we use in our subscription gift boxes UK is fair trade (as every product should be).
While some of the coffee that we use may not always be “certified” organic, we have seen first hand many farms are in fact organic but cannot afford to pay for the certification.

You can select whether you would prefer whole bean coffee or ground coffee.
If you prefer ground coffee you are also given the option to choose how you would prefer the coffee ground which depends on how you brew your coffee. We have 5 levels of coarseness: Espresso, Aeropress, Stovetop, Pour Over and Cafetiere grind.
If you don’t know whether your recipient would prefer whole beans or ground then you can either purchase one of our coffee gift card so they can select their preference at their leisure or they can always change their grind at a later date.
