How often do the coffees rotate?

The coffee that we use in our Batch coffee boxes rotates every two weeks. So no matter whether you opt for a bi-weekly subscription or a four-weekly subscription you will never have the same coffee twice.

Can I buy more of the same coffee?

We don’t stock any of the coffee we showcase in our coffee boxes, this means you get the coffee as fresh as possible and it allows us to quickly rotate between roasters.

If there was a particular coffee that you loved, take a look at the coffee box archive above and click through the link onto the coffee roasters website. You should be able to buy a bag of their delicious coffee directly from them.

What happens if I don’t like the coffee?

We hope that even if you don’t love the coffee you put it down to the fact that the flavour profile isn’t a taste you particularly enjoy. Coffee is all about preference and can dramatically change between people, some love the light, acidic fruity flavoured coffee while others prefer it bold, rich and chocolatey.

There isn’t a right answer to what makes a good coffee and that's the beauty of speciality coffee, the flavours can be so diverse and everybody has different tastes. The coffee that you receive has been selected by our team of experts who only choose the best.

If you really don’t like the coffee please let us know at tom@batchcoffee.co.uk and we will do our best to sort it out.

How many bags of coffee are in each coffee box?

Each Batch coffee box contains 2 bags of speciality coffee that has been Independently roasted.

How much coffee is in each bag?

Each bag of coffee contains 200g of coffee. You will receive 2 bags with each coffee box so you can taste and compare between the two.

How do you decide on the choosing which coffee goes in the coffee box?

We receive coffee samples from independent roasters all over the UK and occasionally further afield. We then cup (taste) the coffee and write a descriptive and unbiased review.

Our Bi-weekly coffee box is comprised of two of our favourites that we think will work well together. Our aim is to exhibit not only the finest independent roasters in the UK but also to showcase the difference in origin of the coffee, the many varietals of the coffee plant and the methods in which the raw coffee is processed. Each variable can change the taste of the coffee dramatically.

What is in this weeks coffee box?

You should be able to see the coffee that was included in our last coffee box dispatch. Because a Batch coffee subscription is about discovering new coffees and essentially a journey through the world of speciality coffee we like to keep what’s in our next coffee box quiet, so it’s a surprise when it’s delivered.

Can I select which coffee I would like to receive?

Our team at Batch spend hours tasting and reviewing coffee so you don’t have to worry about selecting which coffee you’d like (there are thousands out there). We send you two of the best in each coffee box so you can compare and improve your coffee taste buds.

You can, however, select how you would like your coffee ground if you don’t have a grinder. We can grind the coffee for any method from espresso machine up to a cafetiere.
