Blind Owl Coffee Roasters Decaf
Blind Owl coffee roasters is located in Bristol, UK.
Founded in 2018, they have been going strong ever since.
Blind owl's passion for coffee extends far beyond roasting coffee.
Their mission is to bring people together and spread happiness, and if their customers happen to enjoy their coffee, it's an added bonus.
The connections formed while sharing a cup of coffee and the sense of belonging within a community are what drive them.
Since 2018, Blind Owl's dedicated team has been roasting coffee together.
They started with their beloved 5kg roaster named "Ozzy" in an old stable block.
Eventually, they relocated to the historic district of St Philips Marsh in central Bristol, taking Ozzy along with them.
Their roastery and shop have become a gathering place for both coffee enthusiasts and newcomers, serving as the perfect starting point for their coffee's journey and an opportunity to showcase exceptional flavors from around the world.
The Origin
The GRAPOS decaf coffee from Blind Owl coffee roasters originates from Mexico.
The GRAPOS organisation was initially comprised of 90 producers, growing to 300 the following year, and expanded to the 2,708 producers involved today - 772 of which are females.
Decaffeinated with a Mountain Water process which helps to clear away about 99% of the caffeine originally found in the beans, this method of filtration doesn’t remove the flavour, aroma, and characteristics of the beans as a whole.
It means that we’re left with a coffee that remains packed full of delicious flavour, with notes of rich caramel chocolate, lemon, and sweet honey.
