Origin | ACASIA | Hondurus
Acasia from Origin coffee is a delicious coffee sourced from Honduras. It is naturally processed which is a method that I am usually drawn to. Although naturally processed coffees can be a little hit and miss due to the fact that the farmers rely on the elements, some of my favourite ever coffees have been natural and I kind of like the happy go lucky nature of a natural. First off, the fragrance of the unground coffee once opening the bag, gives off the classic stone fruit notes that are typical with natural coffees, alongside a hint of caramel. Upon grinding the coffee a couple of extra berry notes took shape.

About Origin | ACASIA | Hondurus
First off, the fragrance of the unground coffee once opening the bag, gives off the classic stone fruit notes that are typical with natural coffees, alongside a hint of caramel. Upon grinding the coffee a couple of extra berry notes took shape. The berry then rippled into the cup which carried some bold peachy flavours. I found when the coffee hits your mouth it has wonderful tropical fruity flavour which stays for some time then progresses to a berry aftertaste. The coffee is beautifully bright with some cheeky undertones of richer flavours. The coffee was a pleasure to drink, 250 grams went too quick. I try and make each coffee with as many methods as possible, this one I used Aeropress, V60, Espresso and standard cupping. My preferred method for Acasia was Aeropress.
