The company approaches coffee as an experience, carefully managing every step from bean selection to precise roast profiles. We asked Antonio about his favourite local coffee spots. Here’s what he said: What is your favourite coffee spot? I spend quite a bit in central London so my favourite coffee place is Hideaway coffee house in farrier’s Psge. Near us at the roastery we have story coffee, quite an institution in Clapham junction. For breakfast, the Watch House in Marylebone, proves that team does make the difference even in big companies.

Coffee Origin

The Arufa coffee from Code 194 Coffee Roasters originates from the Jiwaka region of Papua New Guinea.

The Arufa Natural coffee is the result of a commitment to the production of high quality cherries and Monpi’s expertise for processing. Cherries are hand-picked by and sold at the Kindeng wet mill.

Monpi then selects the best cherries , which are directly sun dried (omitting the pulping, fermenting and washing stages) for a period of about a month, before being hulled to green beans. The dry cherries are processed to green beans in Kagamuga Monpi facility then moved to Goroka for final cleaning process. It is this process which brings this peculiar acidity and body, balanced with dark red fruits, honey, blueberries, strawberries, plummy, blackcurrantlike, stone fruits, red apples, grapes, caramelized sugar, sweet, mellow and very balanced cups.
