Salford Roasters was formed in September 2016, with the mission to bring ‘Proper Coffee’en masse to Salford and Manchester people and beyond, and to inspire a passion for speciality beans and their origin.

From a garage to being noted as one of the most consistent roasteries in the NW, supplying some of the most prestigious venues around such as Harvey Nichols and The Lowry Hotel – Nik ensures the team is pushing the limits in everything they do, whether that be super experimental stuff (co-ferments/anaerobics and the like) or just lush nutty blends for those pairing with milk or just new to the scene. They roast on one of just 3 IMF roasters in the country, known for its low carbon emission.

Coffee Origin

The Finca San Antonio Coffee from Salford coffee roasters originates from the Reserva Natural El Arenal region of Nicaragua.

This stunning Nicaraguan Coffee from Algrano has won a Great Taste 2 star award with Salford Roasters, putting it in the top 5% of coffees in the UK! They have found the perfect medium roast profile, giving you everything you want from a Nicaraguan coffee – this coffee is clean, sweet and robust.

As well as the direct trade with the farm element, what we loved about this coffee is its versatility. Strong bodied and full of toffee and pecan on espresso, it gives green apple (even cider?!) and mellow citrusy notes on filter.
