The Hario Mini Mill is my OG manual coffee grinder.

Mine accompanied me on a year-long trip through South and Central America, squeezed into my bulging backpack.

The ceramic burrs do a great job of providing a consistent grind, which I really appreciate when experimenting with different coffee methods.

And it’s Hario after all who always seem to nail the balance between quality, design and value.

Hario Mini Mill in My Opinion

If you’re looking for a reliable and compact manual coffee grinder, the Hario Mini Mill is a solid choice.

This little hand grinder is surprisingly effective and user-friendly.

What really stands out is the adjustable ceramic burrs. They deliver a consistent grind that enhances the flavour of my coffee compared to blade grinders.Plus, the entire design feels sturdy, which is impressive considering it’s made mostly of plastic.

On the flip side, it does take a bit of effort since it’s manual, but I’ve found that it’s worth it for the quality of the grind.

Using the Hario Mini Mill coffee grinder is always an experience. It feels solid in my hand with a comfortable grip and a large handle that makes grinding pretty easy.

After using the Mini Mill, I can vouch for its durability. The newest model has reinforced parts that ensure it feels sturdy and reliable.

I’ve had no issues with wear and tear, and the quality has remained consistent throughout its use. It seems designed for the long haul, making it a solid investment for coffee enthusiasts.

Adjusting the grind size is straightforward, accommodating everything from a fine espresso to a coarser French press. Simply screw off the bottom chamber and adjust the grind dial for finer or coarser settings.

The fact that it’s manual means it might not be the most convenient option for everyone, but there’s something satisfying about grinding coffee beans by hand.
